If you are moving to Houston and are not able to make a trip beforehand to tour your liked properties, here are a few Ideas to help:
1. Contact the properties you like most and see if they would be willing to video or send you pictures of the exact unit and if you like, fill out the application online.
2. Have a friends or relative that lives here to go out and tour/record the property and give their opinion before filling out an application online.
3. Google map (street view) the properties and surrounding areas. Look at all reviews on the property (keeping in mind that the ones with bad experiences are more likely to leave a review than ones with a pleasurable stay.)
4. $$ – Come down on the day originally planned and stay in a hotel for a week, keeping anything you bring in storage if need be. Visit and choose the property you like most from the list of favorites created beforehand.
