When you finally find an apartment, the last thing you want to move into is an apartment that gives you headaches and respiratory problems because of the chemicals last used by the former tenants. Switching from chemical-laden products to more natural cleaning products has been trending because of the harm they’re causing to our health and our environment.

Chemical cleaning products contain detrimental endocrine disruptors that interfere with your body’s hormones and can cause birth defects, tumors, and other health concerns. Many chemically-based cleaning products contain ingredients that aren’t biodegradable or petroleum based that negatively impact our environment and affect the living ecosystem.

Consider replacing harmful, chemical products with ingredients that are just as effective, when cleaning your apartment. Below are a couple of do-it-yourself (DIY) ideas for natural cleaning products!
